AFTER all the bad weather and frost we have had, even the all-weather surface has fallen to the elements. So hopefully come Wednesday will be to resume playing.
Also with a vast break out of Covid-19 in the town nothing can be taken for granted. The First Minister has warned of a possible stop to the season.
Dalbeattie Star have already asked about stopping the season with part-time players who have jobs to do through the week and all it takes is one to catch it before you know it your opponents have caught it.
It doesn’t stop at players the system has to work from top to bottom. The Chairman down to ground staff must pass the Covid test each week. This is why they are saying minimum staff as possible to attend matches especially the older generation who are club committee or directors the tests can’t be waved like showing a member card.
TAKE ALL PRECAUTIONS AS THE COVID-19 WAITS FOR NO ONE.
