A massive fire has broken out at Newtown Park this afternoon, around 1:30pm.
We have been informed that the blaze was started in a section of the ground where the clubs new astroturf was being stored before it was to be laid later this summer.
Large amounts of black smoke have been seen as far as 20 miles away as firefighters battle to get it under control.
The local band hall that is used by Kinneil Band next to the ground has also caught fire.
This is a major blow to the club who were in the middle of renovating the stadium over the summer to get it ready for the new season.
We will keep you posted as developments continue.
