The match started off on an even knewell as both sides eyed each other up then the first scare was a pass back leaving Andy Murphy to clear had flashbacks to last week.
Shortly afterward the BU thought they broke the deadlock when Ross Campbell netted only to see the flag upbringing the BU Faithfull back down to earth.
Mark McKenzie then thought he was heading home but the home keeper was on the ball to clear it.
The deadlock came when a low ball took a deflection and landed perfectly for Brian Morgan who took the applause as he won’t get a pass like that again this season and took the BU in at half-time Jeanfield 0 Bo’ness 1
Into the second period and the Swifts started on the attack but this was short-lived before the visitors closed down the chances.
After this the home side not making Murphy do much work it was picked up that the visitors didn’t show much upfront so Max Christie will be looking at how to finish these chances games off but as I was about to walk away at full time a fan said they will be drained in that heat so I will give him that. Next week away to Musselburgh on cup duty so everyone can get washed down from today and move on to the next challenge.
Full-Time Jeanfield Swifts 0 Bo’ness United 1
