UNITED keep up the winning run and remain the only undefeated in the East of Scotland Premier League. Camelon keep up the run also to stay four points behind the BU. Broxburn, the only other unbeaten side surprisingly lost 3-0 at Sauchie.
Having played the Star nearly every few weeks they will know each other and if any weak areas to take the advantage.
Bo’ness opened up with the first chance on goal as they are looking better each week on the new surface but could do more. But no complaints when a win is a win. It didn’t take long for the BU to open up and Brian Ritchie was on the end with a headed goal.

Bo’ness 3 Newtongrange 1
As the match started to flow from end to end with United having the more favourable efforts on goal. With a couple of corners created by the home side and good balls whipped in by Morgan but the finishing touch to polish it off came to nothing.
Bo’ness were now well in command and chances went begging for frontmen Keast Morgan and Campbell to name a few with great chances. If these had gone in it could have been double the score but taking nothing away from the visitors they played well with 10 men for the second half.
