EAST REGION SUPER LEAGUE

LINLITHGOW ROSE 0 BO'NESS UNITED 2

UNITED travelled three mile over the hill and took the game to the home side but after numerous chances in the first half with the strong wind behind them couldn't find the breakthrough.
The second period was still fresh and after 2 minutes Chris Donnelly found the net to the jubilant raptures of the visiting numbers up from Bo'ness. Robert Sloan was felled in the area by the Rose keeper and took the resulting penalty and cooly knocked it home for a well deserved win.

Bo’ness United put in an impressive display at  Albyn Park to win all the points against Broxburn Athletic.

There was little action in the first ten minutes until Ross Philp fired over a cross from the right although Chris Donnelly only got the top of his head to the ball and it went well wide.

HURLFORD UNITED 2 BO'NESS UNITED 0

The BU dream ended this afternoon in Ayrshire as a make shift Bo'ness team were outclassed by their hosts and went in two down at the break
With changes being made in the second period just didn't have the finishing that was needed on the fast surface.  Although showing some more spirit in the last half hour never really tested the Hurlford goal and they now head for Kilbirnie for a place in the quarter final.
