EAST REGION SUPER LEAGUE

FAULDHOUSE UNITED 0 BO'NESS UNITED 0

Bo’ness United’s hopes of retaining their super league crown were dealt a serious blow as two points were dropped in what was an extremely poor performance.

After a slow cagey opening Mark Peat had to be on his toes to sweep clear as a Sam Scott through ball put Andy McQuillan through on goal and it was the home side who almost went ahead on the quarter hour mark.  Paul Murphy was caught in possession by Brian Ross and the pacey wide man carried the ball to the edge of the area before curling his low shot just wide.

EAST REGION SUPER LEAGUE

BROXBURN ATHLETIC 0 BO'NESS UNITED 2

Bo’ness United put in an impressive display at  Albyn Park to win all the points against Broxburn Athletic.

There was little action in the first ten minutes until Ross Philp fired over a cross from the right although Chris Donnelly only got the top of his head to the ball and it went well wide.
