has retired from
football because of
the Achilles injury
which has stopped
him playing for most
of the season.
David
spoke to the website
tonight and said "I
would like to thank
all the committee,
management, players
and especially the
supporters for their
continued support
over the season and
through my injury. I
would like to thank
Lee for all her
support and
treatment throughout
this time."
"I
have left the club
at this stage to
stop draining club
funds when I am not
going to be playing
for the foreseeable
future."
"I
didn't want to
leave, but I felt it
was the best for
myself and the
club."
"Finally, I would
like to wish
everyone related to
the club and all the
best for future."
We
would like to thank
David for his
efforts throughout
his time at the club
and we wish him all
the best for the
