+ Match Report (By John Spowart)

Bo地ess United痴 hopes of Super League survival took a severe dent as they lost a late late goal to drop two vital League points. A full seven minutes of added time saw the BUs lose the vital late goal in a game where both teams had a player sent off.

The game was pretty even until 21 minutes when Scott Mauchline coolly slotted Bo地ess into the lead. After the goal Bo地ess looked the better side though Calum Hardie saw his header well saved by Bo地ess痴 trialist keeper.

Five minutes into the second half Lochee pulled a goal back as Gary Middleton got onto the end of a long ball to volley into the net. However in 61 minutes Bo地ess regained their lead when Scott Brown hit an angled shot that found the bottom corner of the net.

With fifteen minutes remaining the game blew up when Middleton was sent off after receiving a second yellow card but before he went he clashed with Kevin Donnelly and in the ensuing melee Gary Smith was red carded.

Two minutes into time added on Gary Brown tackled Colin Watson in the box but from the resulting penalty the Bo地ess trialist keeper made a great save from Gareth Dailly痴 spot kick.

It looked as if Bo地ess might win all the points but with the last kick of the ball Calum Hardie shot low into the net and the clouds hanging overhead perfectly reflected the mood around Newtown Park
