Both
teams created chances
but it was the home side
who went ahead in 25
minutes when Charlie
Brigain put through
Sean Grady who
coolly slotted past
Aaron Stalker. In 33
minutes Bonnyrigg
doubled their lead when
the referee awarded a
penalty as Graeme McCaul
went down in the box.
John
Elliot
stuck the kick away but
Bo’ness had the chance
to get back in 38
minutes when they were
awarded a penalty for a
hand ball decision.
Kevin Donnelly took the
kick but Craig Coyle got
down to make the save.
Just on half time things
got even worse for
Bo’ness when Sean Grady
put in a good cross and
it was Kevin Mullen
who turned the ball into
his own net.
Bo’ness
took the game to their
hosts in the second half
but despite creating a
number of chances they
couldn’t get the ball
past an unconvincing
Coyle. Bonnyrigg were
happy to soak up the
pressure but they still
looked dangerous when
they got forward. This
was well illustrated
with a minute remaining
as Bonnyrigg completed
the rout, Sean Grady
playing the ball across
to John Elliot
who made no mistake from
a few yards out.
After last weeks victory
this result is a set
back for Bo’ness and
they must get back to
winning ways to avoid
the drop.
