+ Match Report (By John Spowart)
Bo'ness won their final group match of this season's League Cup, though again they were less than convincing against their South region League opponents.

Bo'ness had most of the play in the first half and went ahead in 17 minutes when Muir accepted a short free kick and put through to Willie Irvine who shot passed keeper Kirkham.

Bo'ness created further chances but were unable to extend their lead though it was not all one way traffic. However when Sauchie got up the park it was their final ball that let them down, but just before the interval they had a great chance to draw level when Chris Zoc put Michael Daly through but his chip went over the bar.

In a reshuffle, Stewart Kenny came on for Gary Smith after half time but the first twenty minutes of the second half were very scrappy with both teams incapable of keeping the ball for any length of time.

Sauchie looked the likelier team at this point but it was Bo'ness who scored the winner with three minutes remaining. The ball was played forward and Willie Irvine's first time pass found Stewart Kenny who controlled before hitting an angled shot into the bottom corner of the net.

Willie Irvine has had the opportunity to see what players can do but with Stuart MacKay and Steven McGlinchey still to come in along with new signing Lee Docherty, he will be hoping for some improvement.
