+ Match Report (By John Spowart)

Bo地ess United lost out on their first League game of the season though better finishing in the first half might have seen a different outcome to the game.

Bo地ess had most of the play in the first half but despite creating numerous chances they were unable to get on the score sheet. Gary Smith saw a header cleared off the goal line and a Scott Brown effort was deflected past the post. Stewart Kenny shot over the bar and in 29 minutes Bo地ess were made to regret the missed opportunities when Tayport scored against the run of play. Bo地ess lost out on the right and Murray Urquhart run across the edge of the box before firing a shot past Aaron Stalker.

Bo地ess痴 best chance to get back was when Willie Irvine picked out Stewart Kenny at the back post but the header went wide of the goal.

Tayport were a different prospect in the second half and the forced Bo地ess on the back foot for long periods of time. They increased their lead in 70 minutes when Duncan McLean got onto the end of a free kick from Roberto Morris to shoot into the net.

Bo地ess didn稚 give up and with eight minutes remaining they got a goal back when Stewart Kenny stabbed the ball home from a few yards out. Bo地ess threw everything forward to get a point out of the game but time ran out and Bo地ess left the Canniepairt empty handed.
