Bo地ess
United won all the
points at Armadale
though it took a final
minute goal by Will
Snowdon to keep the BU's
on the winning trail.
The game
started well enough for
Bo地ess who went ahead
after only five minutes
with David Morrison
getting onto the end
of a Paul Mortimer cross
to head down and away
from Dale keeper David
McIntosh.
Bo地ess
created chances to
extend their lead but
McIntosh was doing a
good job in the Armadale
goal and his team
benefited as they drew
level after 24 minutes.
A Jamie Valentine free
kick was hit back across
the goal by Nicky
Brookfield to Graeme
Crawford who slotted
in at the back post.
The goal
seemed to unsettle
Bo地ess who struggled to
play the good football
produced in the early
part of the game and
though chances were
created at both ends
there were no more goals
before half time.
The
second half saw both
teams struggle with a
pitch that was cutting
up badly though Bo地ess
did enjoy the lion痴
share of the ball.
However they struggled
to make an impact in
front of the Armadale
goal with the home side
looking happy to play on
the break.
As the
clock ticked down the
game looked to be
heading for a draw but
in 89 minutes the BU's
conjured up a winner.
Kevin Mullen curled in a
free kick from the right
and Will Snowdon
got up to head into the
net much to the delight
of players and
supporters alike.
Victory
sees Bo地ess keep up the
pressure on Forfar West
End at the top of the
Premier League and
though the display was
disappointing the points
are a welcome end to the
year |
