Man of Match Scott Brown

+ Match Report (By John Spowart)

Bo地ess United made it two victories in a row as a second half Scott Brown hat trick defeated a plucky Livingston United who caused the BU's a few problems particularly in the early part of the game.

Livingston might have gone ahead in 6 minutes when they were awarded a penalty but Aaron Stalker got down to save Nicky Miller痴 spot kick with his feet before grabbing the ball to his chest. Millar had another good chance a few minutes later but he shot wide of the target from only a few yards out.

Bo地ess worked their way back into the game but despite many efforts on goal they could not score and Livingston were still dangerous when they got forward.

Into the second half and a Steven Payne effort just cleared the far post but Bo地ess eventually  went ahead in 59 minutes when Scott Brown got onto a through ball from Kevin Donnelly before slotting past the advancing Tom McGovern.

Livingston enjoyed a brief spell of pressure but they could not take advantage and went further behind in 74 minutes. A Payne free kick came over from the left and Scott Brown got up to score his second of the evening.

The visitors didn稚 look like getting back into it and Bo地ess and Scott Brown completed the scoring in 81 minutes, the BU striker sliding in to get onto the end of a low Kevin Donnelly cross.

Livingston may play in a lower league but his is the time of game that can cause problems and Bo地ess should be happy with a hard working performance and an eventual well deserved victory.
