Bo’ness
preparations for the
season ahead got off to
a good start with a
victory over top Glasgow
side Pollok.
In the
first half it was the
visitors who enjoyed
much of the possession
though they could not
find a way past a hard
working effective BU
defence. Bo’ness created
little in the way of
chances but in the
second half it was
different story.
Pollok
brought on most of their
substitutes at the start
of the second half with
Bo’ness restricting
themselves to a change
of keeper and a pair of
fresh legs up front.
Indeed ten minutes into
the half it was one of
the new faces in the
form of Dean Ogg
who blasted the BUs
ahead.
Pollok tried to get back
and their best chance
came late on when keeper
turned centre forward
Kris Robertson headed
over from a corner.
However the day belonged
to Bo’ness when with
seven minutes remaining
Will Snowdon
fired a free kick into
the top corner of the
