Bo’ness United cruised into the next round of the Scottish Junior Cup at the expense of ten man Lewis United with a Stephen Tarditi double and one from Will Snowdon.

Bo’ness had most of the first half but with nothing to show for their efforts. However fifteen minutes into the second half they finally made the breakthrough after Stephen Tarditi headed in a Nicky Walker cross from the right.

Four minutes later Lewis were reduced to ten men when Jindrich Biskup was red carded after a foul on Walker. Bo’ness piled on the pressure and scored again in 66 minutes when a great passing move involving Graeme McLaren, Chris Donnelly, Lee Duffy and Ian Nimmo was finished when Stephen Tarditi slotted past Lewis keeper Reece Fyfe from close in.

With a minute remaining, Bo’ness sealed the tie with a third goal after Lee Duffy hit a shot off the Lewis post and Will Snowdon was on the spot to smash home the rebound.  The linesman had signalled for offside but after consultation with the referee the goal was awarded
